TickOff is built by Outvixe Creative Agency. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account data such as your name and email address when you sign in. We also store productivity data you create inside TickOff, including tasks, notes, focus sessions, settings, reminders and achievements.
If you connect Google Calendar or Google Tasks, TickOff reads selected event or task information only to help you create and organise tasks inside the app.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the core TickOff experience.
- To sync your tasks and notes across devices.
- To import connected Google Calendar or Google Tasks data when enabled.
- To send optional reminders when you configure them.
- To improve reliability, usability and product quality.
3. AI features and data
TickOff includes optional AI features such as AI Voice Input and AI Notes tools. These features require you to provide your own Gemini API key from Google AI Studio.
Your API key is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to TickOff or Outvixe servers. When you use AI features, relevant text is sent directly from your device to Google’s Gemini API using your own key. TickOff does not receive, store or log the AI request or response.
4. Google API data
TickOff’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. TickOff only reads the data needed for the feature you enabled and does not sell, transfer or use Google data for advertising.
5. Data storage and security
Your app data may be stored using Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
6. Your choices
- You can use TickOff without enabling AI features.
- You can disconnect integrations from app settings or from your Google Account permissions page.
